We are looking for an experienced Technical Leader to drive the technical execution of complex projects from tendering to commissioning, acting as the key technical reference for customers, engineering teams and project stakeholders.
Your mission
As Technical Leader, you will be the technical owner of Digital Power projects across Europe, supporting customers and project teams from the proposal stage through engineering, testing and commissioning.
You will play a key role in defining technical solutions, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and ensuring successful project delivery while meeting customer expectations in terms of quality, performance, budget and schedule.
Working in an international environment, you will collaborate closely with Project Managers, engineering teams, customers and technology partners to deliver innovative solutions for power distribution, energy and critical infrastructure projects.
The role includes occasional travel across Europe (up to 25%) to support customers, project teams, factories and key project milestones.
Main responsibilities
- Lead the technical scope of Digital Power projects from tendering to commissioning.
- Act as the main technical point of contact for customers and key stakeholders.
- Define and validate technical solutions aligned with customer requirements.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams across international projects.
- Oversee engineering, integration, testing and commissioning activities.
- Manage technical risks and support project execution.
- Lead technical discussions and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with Project Managers, suppliers and partners to ensure successful project delivery.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and mentor junior engineers.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering or similar.
- Master’s degree in Energy, Automation or Electrical Systems is a plus.
- Minimum 7 years of experience leading technical projects within Energy, Industrial Automation, Power & Grid, Data Centers or Oil & Gas environments.
- Proven experience managing the full project lifecycle: Tendering, Engineering, Execution and Commissioning.
- Experience working in international and multicultural environments.
- English B2/C1 minimum (mandatory).
- Spanish is a plus.
- French is a plus.
- Technical leadership of industrial or energy projects.
- Preparation and validation of technical offers (Tendering).
- Electrical power systems.
- Electrical distribution systems and substations.
- Data Center solutions.
- Power & Grid environments.
- Industrial automation.
- Design, integration and commissioning of systems.
- FAT, SAT, iFAT and UAT management.
- Interpretation of customer technical specifications.
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols, including Modbus.
- Experience with Digital Power solutions and major industry vendors such as Schneider Electric, ABB or Siemens is considered a plus.
